Three Fenland Running Club members completed the Muscular Dystrophy UK Cambridge Town and Gown 10K on Sunday. Battling the tail end of Storm Briam conditions were less than perfect but there were still 1,533 finishers. Elisabeth Sennitt Clough was first home for FRC placed 273rd with a time of 46:27. Jane Clarke set a new PB finishing 464th and breaking the 50 minute barrier for the first time in 49:41. Richard Agger running with his wife Deborah helping her to a PB also did the gentlemanly thing and let her finish in front by one second and was 872nd in 54:09. In the Great South Run in Portsmouth, Bethan Everson continued her recent run of good form by bagging another PB with a sub 70 time of 68:04. in a race of around 20 thousand runners, Bethan was 27th lady and 11th in her age group category.
